partner
Cristina Martinez, MD, MPH
Aligns policy, systems, and leadership for community-centered outcomes.
Cristina Martinez advises leaders working at the intersection of public health, education, and governance, helping organizations navigate complexity, align policy with practice, and design strategies grounded in community realities.
Trained as both a physician and public health practitioner, she brings a systems-level perspective informed by work across community-based and global contexts. Her approach centers on listening, trust-building, and the use of data to clarify needs, identify gaps, and guide responsive decision-making.
Cristina’s governance experience further strengthens her advisory work. As an elected school board director, she engages with policy, funding, and system accountability, bringing a clear understanding of how decisions translate into real-world impact. She supports organizations in aligning leadership, policy, and operations while maintaining focus on equity, belonging, and long-term outcomes.
Her work is particularly valuable in cross-sector environments where multiple stakeholders, systems, and perspectives must be aligned to achieve durable results.
